# GET /v1/mailboxes/{mailboxId}/correspondents

`GET /v1/mailboxes/{mailboxId}/correspondents`

## Request

- The document declares no server URL.
- Auth: one of:
  - OAuth 2 (authorization code, authorization URL `/authorize`, token URL `/oauth/token`, scopes: `email.read`)
  - HTTP bearer

People this mailbox has corresponded with, for suggesting a recipient as it is typed — those it has written to first, then the most recent. `limit` defaults to 10.

## Response `200`

The request has succeeded.

- Correspondents: The correspondents a query found, best first. Never paged: a suggestion list is short.
  - `correspondents` Correspondent[], required
    - `address` string, required: As most recently written — the address a message to them should carry.
    - `name` string, nullable, required: The newest display name any message from them gave — null when none did.
    - `lastAt` string, date-time, required: The newest message exchanged with them, in either direction.

## Other responses

- `400`: The server could not understand the request due to invalid syntax.
- `401`: Access is unauthorized.
- `403`: Access is forbidden.
- `404`: The server cannot find the requested resource.
- `default`: An unexpected error response.
