# Start a chat with the AI assistant

`POST /ai_assistant/chat`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.foudroyer.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.foudroyer.com/ai_assistant/chat`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Chat with the AI assistant. Use the 'feature' parameter to customize the assistant's behavior: 'indexation' for indexation issues, 'seo_strategy' for SEO planning, or 'general' for general SEO questions.

  - `messages` object[], required: Array of conversation messages
  - `website_id` string, required: Website ID to work with

The AI assistant chat response.
