# Update contact

`PUT /v1/contacts/{id}`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP basic

Update an existing contact. You can provide either updated vCard content or individual fields to update. The contact's vCard will be regenerated if individual fields are provided.

  - `is_group` boolean: Whether contact is a group
