# Retrieve calendar event

`GET /v1/calendar-events/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.forwardemail.net`
- URL: `https://api.forwardemail.net/v1/calendar-events/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP basic

Retrieve a specific calendar event by its ID. The event is returned with all its properties including parsed iCalendar data.

## Response `200`

Calendar event retrieved successfully

- CalendarEvent
  - `id` string, required: Calendar event ID (eventId from CalDAV)
  - `calendar_id` string, required: ID of the calendar this event belongs to
  - `ical` string, required: iCalendar (RFC 5545) data for the event
  - `summary` string: Event title/summary (extracted from iCal data)
  - `description` string: Event description (extracted from iCal data)
  - `location` string: Event location (extracted from iCal data)
  - `start_date` string, date-time: Event start date/time (extracted from iCal data)
  - `end_date` string, date-time: Event end date/time (extracted from iCal data)
  - `uid` string: Unique identifier from iCal data
  - `status` string: Event status (extracted from iCal data)
  - `organizer` string: Event organizer (extracted from iCal data)
  - `deleted_at` string, date-time, nullable: Soft deletion timestamp
  - `created_at` string, date-time, required
  - `updated_at` string, date-time, required
  - `object` 'calendar_event', required
