# UN number to permitted UN packaging

Type a UN number (or a substance name) and get each entry's class, packing group, limited quantity, UN mark level, and for every container type the UN codes allowed and the largest size in litres, from ADR 2025 Table A (P001, P504, IBC02, IBC03). Covers 72 UN numbers of liquids.

## Query parameters

- `un` string: UN number, e.g. 1203 or UN1203
- `name` string: Substance name instead of a UN number, e.g. acetone
- `lang` 'en' | 'ja': en or ja

## Other responses

- `400`: The input could not be read. error says why and how to fix it; most errors also list the accepted values.
- `429`: More than about 10 requests in 10 seconds from one IP address. Wait 10 seconds, then retry.
