# Identify the connection

`GET /api/v1/me`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.formaportal.com`
- URL: `https://app.formaportal.com/api/v1/me`
- Auth: OAuth 2 (authorization code, authorization URL `https://app.formaportal.com/oauth/authorize`, token URL `https://app.formaportal.com/api/oauth/token`, scopes: `portal:read`)

Returns the portal this token is bound to and who authorised it. Useful as a connection test and for labelling the connection in your UI.

## Response `200`

The connection.

- object
  - `id` string: Connection id.
  - `portalId` string
  - `portalName` string
  - `email` string, nullable
  - `connectedBy` string, nullable

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing, invalid, expired or revoked token. The `WWW-Authenticate` header points at the protected-resource metadata.
- `403`: The token is valid but lacks a required scope. `WWW-Authenticate` names the scopes needed.
