# Search provider records using a semantic query

`POST /api/v1/search`

## Request

Public per-IP-limited semantic provider search. The response is a Server-Sent Event stream with `meta`, `result`, optional `error`, and `complete` frames; it is not the canonical cross-vertical MCP search surface.

## Response `200`

Server-Sent Event stream.

## Other responses

- `400`: Query is missing, malformed, or too long.
- `401`: Missing or invalid Fonteum API key.
- `429`: Per-IP search rate limit exceeded.
