# Create Conference

`POST /conferences`

## Request

Create a conference.

## Request body

- object
  - `label` string, required: Label of conference
  - `fonenumber` string: FoneNumber to use for conference
  - `start_time` string, date-time: Start time and date of conference
  - `end_time` string, date-time: End time and date of conference
  - `before_message` string: Message to play before conference start time
  - `after_message` string: Message to play after conference end time
  - `max_members` number: Maximum number of allowed conference attendees
  - `conference_pin` number: Conference PIN for attendees
  - `play_sounds` boolean: Play member entry and exit sound
  - `record_conference` boolean: Record conference or not
  - `hold_music` string: Hold music to play. SoundFile ID or Text to Speech
  - `moderator_options` object
    - `moderator_pin` number: Conference PIN for moderator
    - `terminate_on_exit` boolean: Terminate conference when the moderator leaves
    - `music_on_hold` boolean: Play music on hold if only the moderator is in the conference
    - `mute_members` boolean: Mute all members until the moderator joins
    - `wait_for_moderator` boolean: Wait until the moderator joins
