# List Work Witnesses

`GET /api/works/{slug}/witnesses`

## Request

List a work's witnesses, each enriched by joining BuddhistText.

Order: role='root' first, then by lang asc, then text_id. The title is the
best available for the witness language (see ``_witness_title``).

404 if slug not found.
