# Test Email Sender

`POST /api/project/{slug}/email-senders/{sender_id}/test`

Test a saved email sender.

Body:

Behaviour:
  * If ``to`` is omitted or ``verify_only`` is true → just run
    ``sender.verify()`` (connect / credential check, no DATA phase).
  * Otherwise → send a small test email to ``to`` with subject
    "Fluxito test email".

Either way, ``last_tested_at`` and ``last_test_status`` on the row
are updated so the settings UI can show a fresh "tested OK" badge.
