# Fetch slowmode state

`GET /channels/{channel_id}/slowmode`

Returns the current slowmode rate-limit state for the calling user in this channel, including the configured interval and the time at which they are next allowed to send a message. Lets clients restore slowmode countdowns across devices without relying on local persistence.

## Path parameters

- `channel_id` union, required

## Response `200`

Success

- ChannelSlowmodeStateResponse
  - `rate_limit_per_user` integer, required
  - `retry_after_ms` integer, required
  - `next_send_allowed_at` string, date-time, nullable, required — Absolute timestamp at which the current user is next allowed to send a message, or null if allowed now
  - `can_bypass` boolean, required — Whether the current user has permission to bypass slowmode

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request - The request was malformed or contained invalid data
- `401` — Unauthorized - Authentication is required or the token is invalid
- `403` — Forbidden - You do not have permission to perform this action
- `429` — Too Many Requests - You are being rate limited
- `500` — Internal Server Error - An unexpected error occurred
