# Get sticker metadata

`GET /stickers/{sticker_id}/metadata`

Lookup minimal metadata for a custom sticker by id, including whether the source guild allows the in-app one-click clone shortcut. Does not require membership in the source guild.

## Path parameters

- `sticker_id` union, required
  - string, snowflake
  - integer

## Response `200`

Success

  - `id` string, snowflake, required
  - `guild_id` string, snowflake, required
  - `name` string, required — The name of the sticker
  - `animated` boolean, required — Whether this sticker is animated
  - `allow_cloning` boolean, required — Whether the source guild allows non-members to use the in-app clone shortcut

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request - The request was malformed or contained invalid data
- `401` — Unauthorized - Authentication is required or the token is invalid
- `403` — Forbidden - You do not have permission to perform this action
- `429` — Too Many Requests - You are being rate limited
- `500` — Internal Server Error - An unexpected error occurred
