# Update webhook with token

`PATCH /webhooks/{webhook_id}/{token}`

Updates the specified webhook using its ID and token for authentication. Allows modification of name or avatar. Returns the updated webhook object without creator user data.

## Path parameters

- `webhook_id` union, required
  - string, snowflake
  - integer
- `token` string, required — The webhook token

## Request body

- WebhookTokenUpdateRequest
  - `name` string — The new name of the webhook
  - `avatar` string

## Response `200`

  - `channel_id` string, snowflake, required
  - `name` string, required — The display name of the webhook
  - `avatar` string, nullable — The hash of the webhook avatar image
  - `token` string, required — The secure token used to execute the webhook

- `400` — Bad Request - The request was malformed or contained invalid data
- `429` — Too Many Requests - You are being rate limited
- `500` — Internal Server Error - An unexpected error occurred
