# Delete permission overwrite

`DELETE /channels/{channel_id}/permissions/{overwrite_id}`

Removes a permission override from a role or user in the channel, restoring default permissions. Requires channel management rights.

## Path parameters

- `channel_id` union, required
  - string, snowflake

- `overwrite_id` union, required
  - string, snowflake
  - integer

## Response `204`

No Content
