# Get username suggestions

`POST /auth/username-suggestions`

Generate username suggestions based on a provided global name for new account registration.

## Request body

- UsernameSuggestionsRequest
  - `global_name` string, required — Display name to generate username suggestions from

## Response `200`

Success

- UsernameSuggestionsResponse
  - `suggestions` string[], required — List of suggested usernames

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request - The request was malformed or contained invalid data
- `429` — Too Many Requests - You are being rate limited
- `500` — Internal Server Error - An unexpected error occurred
