# Request data harvest

`POST /users/@me/harvest`

Requests a data harvest of all user data and content. Initiates an asynchronous process to compile and prepare all data for download in a portable format. Returns harvest ID and status.

## Response `200`

Success

- HarvestCreationResponseSchema
  - `harvest_id` string, required — Unique identifier for the harvest request
  - `status` 'pending' | 'processing' | 'completed' | 'failed', required — Current status of the harvest request
  - `created_at` string, required — ISO 8601 timestamp when the harvest request was created

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request - The request was malformed or contained invalid data
- `401` — Unauthorized - Authentication is required or the token is invalid
- `403` — Forbidden - You do not have permission to perform this action
- `429` — Too Many Requests - You are being rate limited
- `500` — Internal Server Error - An unexpected error occurred
