# Verify and create connection

`POST /users/@me/connections/verify`

Verifies the external service connection using the initiation token and creates the connection record on success.

## Request body

- VerifyAndCreateConnectionRequest
  - `initiation_token` string, required — The signed initiation token returned from the create endpoint
  - `visibility_flags` integer

## Response `201`

Success

- ConnectionResponse
  - `id` string, required — The unique identifier for this connection
  - `type` 'bsky' | 'domain', required — The type of connection
  - `name` string, required — The display name of the connection (handle or domain)
  - `verified` boolean, required — Whether the connection has been verified
  - `visibility_flags` integer, required — Bitfield controlling who can see this connection
  - `sort_order` integer, required — The display order of this connection

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request - The request was malformed or contained invalid data
- `401` — Unauthorized - Authentication is required or the token is invalid
- `403` — Forbidden - You do not have permission to perform this action
- `429` — Too Many Requests - You are being rate limited
- `500` — Internal Server Error - An unexpected error occurred
