# Apply for guild discovery

`POST /guilds/{guild_id}/discovery`

Submit a discovery application for a guild. Requires MANAGE_GUILD permission.

## Path parameters

- `guild_id` string, snowflake, required

## Request body

- DiscoveryApplicationRequest
  - `description` string, required — Description for discovery listing
  - `category_type` integer, required — Discovery category type
  - `primary_language` string — Primary community language (BCP-47 code)
  - `custom_tags` string[] — Up to 10 custom discovery tags

  - `guild_id` string, required — Guild ID
  - `guild_nsfw_level` 0 | 3 — The NSFW level of the guild
  - `status` string, required — Application status
  - `description` string, required — Discovery description

  - `custom_tags` string[], required — Custom discovery tags
  - `applied_at` string, required — Application timestamp
  - `reviewed_at` string, nullable — Review timestamp
  - `review_reason` string, nullable — Review reason (approval/rejection)

  - `removal_reason` string, nullable — Removal reason

- `400` — Bad Request - The request was malformed or contained invalid data
