# Get call eligibility status

`GET /channels/{channel_id}/call`

Checks whether a call can be initiated in the channel and if there is an active call. Returns ringable status and silent mode flag.

## Path parameters

- `channel_id` string, snowflake, required

## Response `200`

Success

- CallEligibilityResponse
  - `ringable` boolean, required — Whether the current user can ring this call
  - `silent` boolean, required — Whether the call should be joined silently

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request - The request was malformed or contained invalid data
- `401` — Unauthorized - Authentication is required or the token is invalid
- `403` — Forbidden - You do not have permission to perform this action
- `429` — Too Many Requests - You are being rate limited
- `500` — Internal Server Error - An unexpected error occurred
