# Add a card (Markdown)

`POST /dev/decks/{deckId}/cards`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://fluidrecall.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://fluidrecall.com/api/v1/dev/decks/{deckId}/cards`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP dpop

Write. The new card is due immediately. The Markdown does not include the answer.

- `deckId` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- object
  - `prompt` string, required
  - `answer` string, required

## Response `201`

Markdown card document without the answer.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid JSON or fields.
- `401`: Missing or wrong token.
- `404`: Deck not found.
