# Restore a retired card (Markdown)

`POST /dev/cards/{cardId}/unretire`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://fluidrecall.com/api/v1`

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP dpop

Write. Clear retiredAt. Schedule fields stay. A card that is already active returns alreadyActive true. A retired card in an archived deck is 404 until that deck is unarchived. Another token's card is 404.

## Response `200`

Markdown receipt with retiredAt null and alreadyActive.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid JSON or fields.
- `401`: Missing or wrong token.
- `404`: No card with that id for this token, or the card is retired inside an archived deck.
