# Add a card

`POST /decks/{deckId}/cards`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://fluidrecall.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://fluidrecall.com/api/v1/decks/{deckId}/cards`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP dpop

Write. Add one prompt/answer pair. Optional cardNote sets a card coaching note. The new card is due immediately. The response does not echo the answer.

## Path parameters

- `deckId` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- object
  - `prompt` string, required
  - `answer` string, required
  - `cardNote` string, nullable: Optional card coaching note. Additive with the deck note.

## Response `201`

Card created and due now.

- `401`: Missing or wrong token.
- `404`: Deck not found.
