# Send from an owned mailbox (Markdown)

`POST /agent/messages/send`

## Request

  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP dpop

Write. Ask before sending. Body includes mailboxId, to, subject, and text and/or html.

  - `to` union, required

  - `subject` string, required
  - `text` string
  - `html` string

## Response `200`

Stored outbound message.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid JSON or fields.
- `401`: Missing or wrong token.
