# Resolve Chatroom By Code

`GET /chatrooms/by-code/{code}`

Resolve a private room's join code to its room_name so a standalone
code (shared out-of-band) can be redeemed. Defined before /{room_name}
so the literal 'by-code' prefix isn't swallowed by the catch-all. The
actual access gate still runs in join_chatroom — this only maps code → room.
