# Get Room Status

`GET /chatrooms/{room_name}/status`

Lightweight liveness check for the channel call card. A call is LIVE only
while someone is actually in it (participant_count > 0). The room hash alone is
not enough: an ended room's Redis key can linger (empty-timeout cleanup can miss
it, and it may carry no TTL), which would keep the card stuck on 'Join'.
