# Activate Account

`POST /auth/activate`

Set the first password on a school-provisioned account and sign in.

Signs in on success, rather than bouncing to the login form: the student has
just proved control of the address and chosen a credential thirty seconds
ago, and a school's first-run flow that ends on a login screen is a school's
first-run flow that ends in a support queue.
