# Create a new breakpoint definition for the current instance

`POST /current-instance/{scopeId}/breakpoint-definitions`

## Other responses

- `403`: Indicates the user does not have the rights to create a breakpoint definition.
- `404`: Indicates the requested current instance was not found.
- `409`: Indicates there was already a breakpoint created for the same activity.
