# Create a new agent deployment

`POST /agent-repository/deployments`

## Request

The request body should contain data of type multipart/form-data. There should be exactly one file in the request, any additional files will be ignored. The deployment name is the name of the file-field passed in. Make sure the file-name ends with .agent or .knowledgeBase.

## Query parameters

- `tenantId` string

## Response `201`

Indicates the agent deployment was created.

- AgentDeploymentResponse: The response for an agent deployment
  - `id` string, required: The unique identifier of an agent deployment
  - `name` string: The name of the agent deployment
  - `deploymentTime` string: The deployment date in ISO 8601 for the action deployment)
  - `category` string: The category of the agent deployment
  - `parentDeploymentId` string: The parent deployment id of the agent deployment
  - `tenantId` string: The tenant id of the agent deployment

## Other responses

- `400`: Indicates there was no content present in the request body or the content mime-type is not supported for agent deployment. The status-description contains additional information.
