# Delete Campaign

`DELETE /api/v1/campaigns/{campaign_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:3009`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Deletes a campaign permanently: it stops sending and every campaign endpoint then reports it as 404, the same as one that never existed. There is no restore, and a second delete returns 404. Its leads, steps and history are retained internally for reporting but are no longer reachable through the API.

No request body.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized — missing or invalid API key
- `403`: Forbidden. `code` says which permission refused: ROLE_FORBIDDEN (your role), INSUFFICIENT_SCOPE (the API key's scopes), WORKFLOW_FORBIDDEN (no access to the workflow), KEY_WORKFLOW_FORBIDDEN (the API key's workflow restriction).
- `404`: Campaign not found
- `429`: Too Many Requests — rate limit exceeded. Check `Retry-After` header for seconds until the limit resets.
