# Set a person field's display-name override

`PUT /api/v1/ackdb/observe/persons/fields/{key}/label`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Per-deployment override of a column's DISPLAY label in the person grain (#191). Presentation only - never touches the field key, the compiler whitelist, filters, sort, or ingest. Unknown keys are accepted (stored inert). Reflected on the next GET /observe/persons/fields. Use DELETE to reset to the computed name.
