# Log Out User

`GET /v2/logout`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://login.flocksafety.com`
- URL: `https://login.flocksafety.com/v2/logout`
- Auth: none declared

Use this endpoint to log out a user. If you want to navigate the user to a specific URL after logout, set that URL in the returnTo parameter. The URL should match the Logout URL you have provided Flock.

## Query parameters

- `returnTo` string
- `client_id` string

## Other responses

- `302`: Redirect to the returnTo URL or to the first Allowed Logout URLs set in the Dashboard.
- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Not Found
- `405`: Method Not Allowed
- `429`: Too Many Requests
- `500`: Internal Server Error
- `501`: Not Implemented
- `503`: Service Unavailable
