# Deleting a Subject Type

`DELETE /geo/types/{typeId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.flocksafety.com/api/v3`
- URL: `https://api.flocksafety.com/api/v3/geo/types/{typeId}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Delete a subject type. This will delete tracking information on subjects of that type

## Path parameters

- `typeId` string, required

## Response `200`

Delete a subject type. This will remove tracking information on subjects of that type

- SubjectType
  - `subjectType` 'vehicle' | 'person' | 'drone' | 'other', required
  - `subjectSubtype` string, required
  - `displayName` string, required
  - `ttlSeconds` integer: 0 is disabled TTL

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: Not Found (provided id doesn't match any existing)
