# Retrieving devices.

`GET /devices`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.flocksafety.com/api/v4`
- URL: `https://api.flocksafety.com/api/v4/devices`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Retrieves the devices that belong to your organization. You may also request devices shared with your organization via First Responder Jurisdiction (FRJ) by passing `include_frj=true`.

## Response `200`

The devices were successfully retrieved.

    - `id` string, required: The ID of the device.
    - `type` 'camera' | 'video' | 'audio', required: The device's type.
    - `name` string, required: The name of the device.
    - `location` Location, required: The location where the device is located.
      - `latitude` number, required: The latitude of the device’s location.
      - `longitude` number, required: The longitude of the device’s location.
    - `network` Network, required: The network that the device belongs to.
      - `id` string, required: The ID for the network
      - `name` string, required: The name of the network
    - `metadata` object, required: Metadata about the device.
    - `link` string: A link to view the device in the Flock UI.
    - `organization` Organization: The organization that the device belongs to.
      - `id` string, required: The ID for the organization
      - `name` string, required: The name of the organization
  - `totalItems` number, required: The total number of devices that are available to view.
  - `totalPages` number, required: The total number of pages.
  - `nextPage` string, uri: The URL for the next page of results. Omitted on the final page.

## Other responses

- `401`: The provided token is either expired or invalid.
- `422`: The request contains one or more errors.
- `429`: The maximum number of requests per second has been exceeded.
- `500`: An internal error happened when processing the request.
