# Get weather conditions for given airport

`GET /airports/{id}/weather/observations`

Returns weather for an airport in the form of a decoded METAR, starting
from the latest report and working backwards in time as more data is
requested. Data is provided in parsed, human-readable, and raw
formats.

      - `altitude` integer, nullable: Height in feet (AGL) of cloud base
      - `symbol` string: Raw cloud symbol from the METAR report
      - `type` string: Type of cloud. May be CLR, FEW, SCT, BKN, OVC, VV
    - `conditions` string, nullable, required: Notable weather
    - `pressure` number, nullable, required: Air pressure (see pressure_units field for units)
    - `pressure_units` 'null' | 'mb' | 'in Hg', nullable, required: Units for air pressure
    - `raw_data` string, required: Raw METAR report string
    - `temp_air` integer, nullable, required: Air temperature
    - `temp_dewpoint` integer, nullable, required: Dewpoint temperature
    - `temp_perceived` integer, nullable, required: Perceived temperature (e.g. wind chill)
    - `relative_humidity` integer, nullable, required: Relative humidity (percent)
    - `time` string, date-time, required: Timestamp when report was collected
    - `visibility` number, nullable, required: Horizontal visibility distance (see visibility_units for units)
    - `visibility_units` 'null' | 'meters' | 'SM', nullable, required: Units for visibility
    - `wind_direction` integer, required: Heading direction of wind (degrees)
    - `wind_friendly` string, required: Human-friendly summary of winds
    - `wind_speed` integer, required: Wind speed
    - `wind_speed_gust` integer, required: Wind gust speed
    - `wind_units` 'MPS' | 'KT', required: Units for the wind speed and wind gusts

## Other responses

- `400`: Incorrect parameter (id). Id must be a valid airport code and cannot be empty. Temperature_units may be invalid. Timestamp may be before user's history limit.
