# Get information about an aircraft type

`GET /aircraft/types/{type}`

## Request

Returns information about an aircraft type, given an ICAO aircraft type designator string.
Data returned includes the description, type, manufacturer, engine type, and engine
count.

OK

  - `manufacturer` string: Manufacturer of aircraft
  - `type` string: Type of aircraft
  - `description` string: A short description of the aircraft
  - `engine_count` integer, nullable: Number of engines
  - `engine_type` string, nullable: Type of engine

## Other responses

- `400`: Incorrect parameters. Type must be an ICAO aircraft type designator string.
