# Read a job description file into text

`POST /api/v1/job/requirement_files`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.flexiple.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.flexiple.com/api/v1/job/requirement_files`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns the text of a PDF, Word (.docx, .doc), OpenDocument (.odt), plain text or image job description, up to 5 MB, for the new-job box. The kind is read from the bytes. A PDF without a text layer, or an image, is read by Gemini. Nothing is stored.

## Other responses

- `403`: Not a client who can create jobs
- `413`: The file is over 5 MB
- `422`: The file cannot be read, or holds no text
