# Request or resend an email verification message

`POST /auth/email-verifications`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.flashdata.dev/v2`
- URL: `https://api.flashdata.dev/v2/auth/email-verifications`
- Auth: none required

For every syntactically valid email, returns the same response regardless of whether the account is missing, pending, active, suspended, or deleted. Eligible pending accounts receive a rotated one-time link after the resend cooldown.

Request accepted. The response does not reveal whether an account exists.

## Other responses

- `422`: Anonymous authentication request validation failed
- `429`: Anonymous authentication rate limit exceeded
- `500`: An unexpected anonymous authentication error occurred
- `503`: An anonymous authentication dependency is temporarily unavailable
