# Delete Tool

`DELETE /v1/agent/tools/{tool_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.fish.audio`
- URL: `https://api.fish.audio/v1/agent/tools/{tool_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Delete a tool. Returns 409 while any agent's draft configuration still
references it — check `GET /v1/agent/tools/{tool_id}/agents` and detach it
via the agent config first, so a delete can never silently change agent
behavior.

## Path parameters

- `tool_id` string, required

## Response `204`

Request fulfilled, nothing follows

## Other responses

- `401`: No permission -- see authorization schemes
- `404`: Nothing matches the given URI
- `409`: Request conflict
- `503`: The server cannot process the request due to a high load
