# Create a new collection

`POST /tokenization/collections`

Create a new collection and link it as a token.
Endpoint Permission: Owner, Admin, Non-Signing Admin, Signer, and Editor.

  - `baseAssetId` string, required: The blockchain base assetId
  - `vaultAccountId` string, required: The id of the vault account that initiated the request to issue the token
  - `type` 'NON_FUNGIBLE_TOKEN' | 'SEMI_FUNGIBLE_TOKEN', required: The type of collection
  - `name` string, required: A string that represents the name of the collection
  - `symbol` string, required: A string that represents the symbol of the collection
  - `adminAddress` string, required: The EVM address of the user that will be set as the admin user of the collection
  - `displayName` string: A string to display as a name of the collection
