# Create a Genie session

`POST /genie/sessions`

Starts a new conversation with Genie, the Fireblocks AI assistant. Returns a `sessionId` — pass it when sending messages, and reuse it across calls to keep one continuous conversation.

**Note:** This endpoint is currently in beta and might be subject to changes.

Session created

- GenieCreateSessionResponse
  - `id` string, required: The unique identifier of the newly created Genie session. Use this when sending messages in the conversation.
  - `createdAt` integer: Session creation timestamp in epoch milliseconds.
  - `title` string: Session title. May be empty until the first message has been processed.
