# Verify a Proof of Ownership export

Verifies a Proof of Ownership export against the record Fireblocks stored at creation. Returns `valid: false` (not 404) for an unknown, expired, or mismatched export. Available to any authenticated Fireblocks workspace, not just the export's original owner.

## Request body

- AddressRegistryVerifyProofOfOwnershipRequest: Request body for verifying an Address Registry Proof of Ownership export.
  - `exportId` string, uuid, required: Export id from create / the PDF.
  - `verificationHash` string, required: Verification hash from create / the PDF (exact match required).
  - `address` string, required: Address from the PDF (exact UTF-8 match to the stored export).
  - `expiresAt` string: Optional but recommended: the PDF's "Online verification available until" date (`YYYY-MM-DD`), which speeds up the lookup. A wrong value yields `valid: false` even if the export exists — copy it exactly from the PDF, or omit it.

Verification result

- AddressRegistryVerifyProofOfOwnershipResponse: Online verification result. Authenticated calls always return HTTP 200 with this body (`valid: true` or `valid: false`); unknown/expired exports do not use 404.
  - `valid` boolean, required: Whether the stored export matches the supplied verification hash and address within retention.
  - `expiresAt` string, required: Inclusive last UTC calendar day (`YYYY-MM-DD`) when `valid` is true; empty string when `valid` is false.

- `400`: Missing, empty, or whitespace-only `exportId`, `verificationHash`, or `address`, or `expiresAt` not empty and not a valid `YYYY-MM-DD` date. Error code 4100.
