# Update daily brief settings

`PUT /daily-briefs/settings`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://studio.fintechstudios.com/api/v1`

- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

Create or update the user's personal daily brief: add/remove insight channels (the user's own), schedule, time zone, tone, length, on/off. With no personal profile yet, one is created from the house brief's channels first, so adding a channel adds to the brief the user already gets. Requires the `write` scope.

  - `profile_id` string: Defaults to the profile the personal brief uses.
  - `add_channel_ids` string[]
  - `remove_channel_ids` string[]
  - `frequency` 'daily' | 'weekdays' | 'weekly' | 'twice_daily'
  - `time` string: Local time, HH:MM 24-hour.
  - `day_of_week` 'sunday' | 'monday' | 'tuesday' | 'wednesday' | 'thursday' | 'friday' | 'saturday': For weekly; defaults to monday.
  - `timezone` string: IANA time zone.
  - `tone` 'executive' | 'analyst' | 'casual'
  - `max_length` integer: Target words.
  - `active` boolean
  - `name` string
