# Confirm that an answer was recorded

`GET /v1/verify/{answerId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.finology.tech` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.finology.tech/v1/verify/{answerId}`
- Auth: API key in header `X-Api-Key`

Looks up the answer-of-record row behind a provenance.answerId and returns when it was recorded, which endpoint served it, the rule ledger version and the inputs hash. Anonymous; never returns the inputs, the caller or the tenant.
