# The rules ledger behind every answer

`GET /v1/rules`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.finology.tech` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.finology.tech/v1/rules`
- Auth: API key in header `X-Api-Key`

Every constant the engine uses, with its value, primary source, effective date and last-verified date; the rules the engine knowingly does not apply; and the ledger version stamped into every answer. Anonymous. ETag is the ledger version.
