# Delete Virtual Account

`DELETE /virtual-account/{virtual_account_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.finmo.net/v1`
- URL: `https://api.finmo.net/v1/virtual-account/{virtual_account_id}`
- Auth: HTTP basic

Delete a virtual account using Virtual Account reference ID (```va_*```).

However, the ability to delete a virtual account depends on the underlying Payin method used to create it. If the Payin method's attribute ```is_cancellable = false```, the virtual account cannot be deleted.
