# Delete Payment Plan

`DELETE /payment-plan/{payment_plan_id}`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP basic

Soft-delete a payment plan using payment plan reference id (```payment_plan_*```). 

When a payment plan is deleted, it is marked as deleted (```is_deleted: true```) and deactivated (```is_active: false```); however, the data remains in the database for audit and compliance purposes. This ensures that all transactional activities can still be accessed if required.
