# Delete Customer

`DELETE /customer/{customer_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.finmo.net/v1`

- Auth: HTTP basic

Soft-delete a customer profile using customer reference id (```customer_*```). 

When a customer is deleted, their status is updated to ```DELETED```; however, their data remains in the database due to local regulations. This ensures that all transactional activities can still be accessed if required.
