# Cancel checkout

`PATCH /checkout/{checkout_id}/cancel`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP basic

Cancel a checkout session and any existing Payins that are in ```PENDING``` status. 

Upon successful execution of the API, the Checkout status updates to ```CANCELLED```, and a ```CHECKOUT_CANCELLED``` webhook is triggered. If the Payin is cancelled, a ```PAYIN_CANCELLED``` webhook will also be triggered.
