# WRITE: set a reminder that arrives as a notification on the traveller's phone at a time they choose — only when THEY ask

WRITE: set a reminder that arrives as a notification on the traveller's phone at a time they choose — only when THEY ask ("remind me at 7 to leave for the ferry"). Give `text` (≤140 characters; it shows on a locked phone, so no links, e-mails, booking codes or long numbers) and `at` as an ISO time WITH their UTC offset for where they will be (e.g. 2026-10-20T07:00:00-04:00) — ask if you do not know. Optionally tie it to a trip (tripId) or a saved place (pointId): a tap opens it. Quiet hours delay it rather than drop it; their notification settings still apply. Shown as "Reminder · <your name>".

  - `today` string: The traveller's own date, YYYY-MM-DD, where the action needs one
  - `expectedVersion` integer: For a change to a trip: the planVersion you last read

## Other responses

- `202`: Waiting for the traveller's approval in Finding Horizons
- `400`: Bad body / missing Idempotency-Key
- `401`: No or invalid token
- `403`: Scope not granted
- `409`: Conflict: the plan changed since expectedVersion, or the same key is still running
- `422`: The action said no
- `429`: Rate limited
