# Read a task you started for the traveller (your own task reference) and what moved since you last saw it: the trip's pla

`POST /actions/get_task`

## Request

Read a task you started for the traveller (your own task reference) and what moved since you last saw it: the trip's plan version then vs now, and whether the traveller talked to Horizon about it in between (a count, never the messages). If anything moved, read the trip again before changing it.

## Request body

  - `taskRef` string, required
  - `today` string: The traveller's own date, YYYY-MM-DD, where the action needs one

## Response `200`

Done — { ok, api, action, result, card, operation? }

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad body / missing Idempotency-Key
- `401`: No or invalid token
- `403`: Scope not granted
- `422`: The action said no
- `429`: Rate limited
